Esperanza lies adjacent to Aftermath Silver Ltd.’s Berenguela silver-copper-manganese project (roughly 500 meters southeast of their resource area) within their claim block.
The Esperanze Silver Copper Manganese Project is located in the Santa Lucia district in southeastern Peru. It is within 1.5 hours drive of Colt Silver’s regional exploration office in Juliaca.
It benefits from excellent infrastructure with good road access, water resources and a railway line within 3 km’s of the property which connects to the port of Matarani on the Pacific coast.
Esperanza lies adjacent to Aftermath Silver’s Berenguela Ag-Cu-Mn project, which hosts a current resource of 122.5 Moz Ag in Measured & Indicated and 22.0 Moz Ag Inferred.
ALS GoldSpot’s hyperspectral mapping of the Santa Lucia district confirms manganese as a key CRD pathfinder, with the Berenguela manganese trend extending into Esperanza.
Manganese is also the primary pathfinder at Colt Silver’s Galena project and the historic Santa Barbara and Berenguela mines. At Esperanza a sampling mapping program is planned to identify manganese anomalies that coincide with surface silver and base-metal mineralization.
Colt Silver plans detailed geological mapping and sampling at Esperanza to further evaluate the possibility that Esperanza may represent an extension of the Berenguela manganese silver copper deposit.
